The most common of this species is mostly blue in colour, and found primarily in Wooden Arrows grasslands, referred to as just Ayulinn, or the Anedjty Ayulinn. The nearly as common pink subspecies, the Penumbra Ayulinn or Southern Ayulinn, as the names imply, live in Penumbra and south Anedjty.

Ayulinn do so well in the Ambria Veld and Penumbra because they eat the dying and dead Wooden Arrows and Dusk Sentries, and their loose leaves, cleaning up the environment of the detritus.
