They willingly eat anything, but prefer meat, usually eoa and io they can easily catch. They do not make the best of pets, as one will attract more, or will just fill their gullets with items before taking off into the wild.

Belinques are covered in biofluorescent markings that they can activate whenever they please, though usually at night when they are most active, and scavenging for items, mostly to let others know where they are, and that they have found something of interest.

Heka helps produce the halo of water floating above their heads, created by gathering moisture from the air, used to help hydrate them in any climate. In folklore they are considered saviours in the desert, given their inclination to gravitate towards taothomet kind. However, they don’t want to share their water, but rather harass and torment the individual for fun.
