Aloof, stubborn, and a bit of a prig, usually doesn't finish thoughts, and also mostly pretends to be good at his job; not like there is that much to do anyway. N'tai is a lyranisa—an abstract form of bodyguard for sovereignties on Umeon—for the sovereign of Laurasia, Queen Ryzardhia, and things aren't exactly that exciting at the moment. He went from being a page to essentially a page with better pay. Some of that can be his own fault when he offers to run over to get records for Namir, kind of an old habit mixed with actual camaraderie.
He is self-conscious about his lack of heka abilities, but more than makes up for it with his physical strength. This is something usually associated with Kiamat Re and not the Kiamat Ra, Kiamat Ra usually being the flimsy ones of the two Kiamat. Kiamat Ra's heka abilities can often be measured by their eyesight, or more importantly lack thereof; less is more, the blindest are usually the strongest. N'tai has the most amazing vision that other Kiamat Ra would be envious of if he weren't so isolated from them. He's also too busy feeling sorry for himself over being what he deems useless even though he constantly proves otherwise.
NotesUnusually bright yellow for a Kiamat Ra, kind of puts people off. Is great at getting along and working with most others, except Kizai, N'tai hates him. This might be influenced by his natural instinct to want to kill Zeitheir.
He actually only seems to truly like Kelambit, Namir, Orillia, and Raskuta. Cannot remember his own squire's name. Gestures with sword when talking, such as pointing or wiggling it. Has a gambling addiction; Eber wants to use his chest cavity as a paint bucket because of how much N'tai owes. Hard to steal as a street rat when you stand out so much, so he ended up being the decoy a lot. Once got mangled by a group of brooding gryphons that left the longest and ugliest ragged scars from his torso down his right leg. He got sick of looking at them and tried to get over his fear of being touched by a man to have N'rykhet remove them. Reads fiction about his exact job position and wonders why his job isn't actually like this. Good with light one-handed weapons, underestimates how amazing he is with a balisong.
